Ironic thing is that after the Col. sold off his operation completely to be franchised, HE actualy got hit with a lawsuit that he coudln't sell his OWN chicken under his name to compete with them, he was apparently still selling it at a restaurant run by his wife......

#16, Well, that sucks.
What's cool though, is that KFC paved the way for Taco Bell and Wendy's, directly.
Mr. Bell (can't remember his first name, but his last name WAS Bell) was a successful KFC franchise owner, and decided to start his own franchised restaurant, as a burger place to compete with McD's... someone suggested he try putting some Tacos on his menu (they suggested using his fry vats to make taco shells), and the rest, as they say, is history.
Dave Thomas was one of the most successful KFC franchise owners in history, and I don't need to tell you anything else about what he did later. Dammit, now I want a Frosty.
