but this looks like a fairly redneckish establishment, so statistically there's a 350 camaro within about 100 yards. |

If it's anything like my neighborhood, there will be any combination of the following in the yard:
*Late 2nd gen or 3rd gen Camaro, doesn't run and probably never will again. Usually patch-paneled.
*'70s model Ford truck, in pieces following a frame-twisting accident
*'80s model full-sized Chrysler product, covered in tree sap, probaby sitting for 15 years because of carb problems.
*'50s model Chevrolet truck, sitting about that long, somewhat rusty and incomplete
*'80s model GM front-driver, painted a dark color with orange racing stripes and no front sheetmetal.
*Early '80s Ford LTD 2-door, tan or maroon, somewhat worn and with a perpetually sprung hood.
*Hot-rodded non-SS Chevelle, usually a '72, in pieces.
*AMC Matador sedan, on blocks with no hood or running gear and a badly bent fender
*1980 Plymouth Volare, sits next to the '50s Chevrolet truck, looks solid but dirty, has been sitting as anyone can remember
And that's just a sampling. |

Wow, that's got us beat, my neighborhood collection includes
* 77' Firebird, base model, stripped down to subframe, stuffed in woodshed
* Mid 70's Chevy Pickup, in 3 different chunks, front, cab, bed, spread out in different locations of the yard
* Abandoned british-looking 60's sportscar that sinks lower into the ground every spring
* Dozens of paint cans and body panels stacked on a blue tarp that looks to be the shape of an 80's Monte Carlo SS
* Olds Cutlass from the early 80's, dozens of rust holes, but runs, parked next to a 90' Dodge Shadow, no rust, does NOT run
*Studebaker pickup, looks complete, but hasn't moved for years
*3 different VW Quantum wagons, each one missing the same pieces
*Pontiac Parisienne slowly being devowered by a wild rose bush
*Fox body Stang' w/ primer spots that migrate around the body depending on the season, but never fully disappear
*Plymouth Valiant, perpetualy for sale, rust climbing rockers, sale price crossed out and lowered thrice |

Those were just examples of the types of cars you'll see around here in #15, but all of those vehicles are in my neighborhood except for the '80s sap-covered Chrysler and the AMC Matador (those are in other neighborhoods). There are about 4 varities of the first car I mentioned throughout here, and 3 rusting '50s Chevy trucks. I also forgot to mention the mint green '67 Chevy truck that sits in a field WAY off the road, barely visible but covered in rust. |

how about the always classic late 80s Chevy truck with no hood parked next to a late 60s chevy 2-door of some variety (also with no hood, with hinges sticking up), with a 350 hanging from a chain between two trees for so long we couldn't decide what was coming out of what?

up north at my parent's place - the houses in the country have at least 7-8 cars stuck around falling
barns. I've seen some really nice 50s pickup trucks with the windows shot out, lots of rusted out camaros, and a lot of G-Bodys. Sometimes it seems to take 4-6 months for people to do the work on their car - saw some Ciera with the engine out on jackstands for months before they er, got it running. |
