Description:
1971 LS-6 454-equipped Chevrolet Monte Carlo, a "gentlemans" performance car, but the performance was never the main selling point for these cars, and later models would stress luxury first....

In fact, there wasn't much "performance" in this one either, even with 400+ HP, this thing was a tank, only capable of a low 16 in the quarter...

um yeah...and with a 400hp and around 450-500 lb-ft motor, that should still make it 10 lb/hp...MUCH faster than a 16-second run

was it the tranny's fault? or what?

#6, Most likely does not have a performance tranny or rear end, these boats were meant to cruise, so they have low rear gear ratios

#2, You're a dumbass, Skid. The LS6 was also made in 1971, but detuned to around 425 hp.
