Oldest car I ever saw in a junkyard - 40ish Buick w/ a straight eight
Most desireable classic/muscle in a junkyard - Toss up, Lincoln Continental w/ suicide doors or an Olds
Cutlass that had a 442 "had" being the operative word
Rarest Car Ever Seen in junkyard - 70's Ford Ranchero and an AMC Rebel (in about 1998)
Worst wreck ever seen in a junkyard - Chevy S-10, stem to stern burnout, steel blets from the radial tires were fused to the brake rotors
Most common car seen in yard - AMC/Jeep/Chrysler Wagoneers/Cherokees (at least around here) |

Oldest car ever seen in a junkyard: Shell to a late '30s GM product.
Nicest car: '68-'72 Nova, two-door, gold, needed little more than a hood and engine.
Most common: K-Cars and Toyota trucks (they're both a dime a dozen)
Goofiest: white '76 Cadillac Coupe DeVille, with leopard skin interior and a continental kit on the back. Fairly rusty and grown up.
Weirdest: red early '80s Mazda, windshield banner said in yellow letters "FOOD" (huh?), had a bullet hole in the windshield and something red all over the drivers seat. |

#29, Yes, it looked like blood. It had soaked into the cloth and looked sort of redish brown. |

I saw a saveable Mach 1 and Boss, along with three '69 Firebird convertibles, two GTO Judges, and a lone Catalina. Also in that yard lay four Cutlass 442s, and a Hurst, acouple CJ428s, and five or six Chevelles, and a cluster of old Novas. |
