Description:
Our old Beretta GTZ. It had the Quad 4 engine which gave the car plenty of power and it handled very well for FWD, too. Unfortunately, like most of the Quad 4s, it blew up at about 50k miles and we sold it to my wife's nephew who later totalled it. This pic was taken after he'd had it -- and abused it -- for awhile. |

Great cars, at least mine is. 100,000+ and still running, well til some asshat decided to run a light. Still runs but the radiator is screwed. Great on the highway, good power and handling, a FWD commuter car with balls. Still wonder why Chevy flushed it for the Cavalier. |

Well the only way to drive them (FWDs) fast is to abuse them. Take my econobox for example. It can understeer badly and yet with some persuasion (none of the rice-style handbrake shit though) I am able to go sideways on gravel. Well but this econobox is special. Not only some Tipos were equipped with a 150hp 2.0 litre engine but the floor pan was used in Alfa Romeos 155 (including the Q4 4WD V6 version) and in FIAT Coupes (including 2.0 turbo version). |

#6, I wrote this? Hmmm...
Well, at least on loose surfaces FWDs need to be tossed around not to understeer. Mashing all pedals at once helps too (left foot braking, etc.) |
