My dad and our '56 Buick Special in a picture from sometime in the late 50s. We used to drive all over the country on vacations in this car, which is what the big ol' boats from that era were best at...

No, I was just a little kid back then and we put about a gazillion miles on it, and when it started to rust out, dad took it to some cheapie place where they painted it electric blue *over* the rust. After that, it fell apart fast and he traded it for a '62 Buick Invicta Wagon.

Except for the Rendezvous, most of Buick's stuff is lookin' pretty good, I like the one where he's like "Why did I put this much power in a family sedan? I just thought It would be fun"
