My biggest problem with the idea of Bigfoot or a "missing link" is that, in order for any such species to perpetuate itself, it would have to reproduce. The question is whether Bigfoot sightings are frequent enough to justify the assumption that a sufficiently large population exists to allow that.

Living things leave a lot of junk behind, you'd think that all the folks hunting for one, even if they dont' find a live one, would find somthing else, droppings, skeletal remains, shed hair, somthing other than questionable footprints and grainy photos of some guy in an ape suit
