don't see too many of these anymore - especially around here... I always liked the look, too bad the performance wasn't the hottest...

And to address the performance issue, I'm sure there's something you could put in there.

#5, LS1, its still GM. But thats not going to be good. If it wasnt such a classic (if it is a classic) Id be putting in an RB20 or a 1G-GTE.

There were 2 of these for sale just a couple blocks from here -- both for $350. But even with both of them together, there were a lot of missing parts and it just didn't look to be worth the effort.

What did this originally have under the hood? Since it's a Euro sports car from the 60s-70s-whenever I'm guessing a 2-liter four-banger.

The temptation to drop in a small-block must be hard to resist.

#11 - yeah, a chevy 302/327/350, a ford 302, or even a supercharged/turbocharged buick 3.8L would kick ass. Hmm... time to do some research....

These look great. Put some power under the hood, and it'd be one of those freakish screaming-fast small cars (like the Tiger, Cobra, etc.).

I'd love to have one of these and stick, say, a 289 in it. My very own Cobra Daytona!

I still haven't seen one of these in person, though. I've only seen pictures and stuff. :-(
