did he just disconnect his rear brakes, then held the car in place with the front brakes and gassed it?

Probably just did a brake stand. The rear brakes typically only contribute ~10% of the cars stopping power, so it's not hard to overpower them.

i don't see why a marauder wouldn't be able to do it, if a grand marquis can with about 80 less hp and like 30lb-ft...unless it's much heavier
