I like the looks of the old F4 Phantoms - I know they are 'old' vietnam era jets - but they just looked plain cool. |

There's an mpeg out there of a Navy jet on a very low pass by an aircraft carrier breaking the sound barrier and creating a shockwave like this. |

#8...yeah seen stuff like that before...my dad was in the navy and whenever they got out to see they'd do stuff like tath just about every day. on his last cruise an F-14 did a sonic boom past the carrier and its right engine flamed out and they had to ditch the plane. both the pilot and the navigator were fine |
