It's motor is blown, a rebuild for a Porsche 928 engine can quickly exceed value of car, owner places ad saying "I'll take very little $$$ to just have it off the property" Dad and I do a little research, find out a SBC will fit into one, we have a 400hp SBC looking for a home, 1 + 1 = 2 :-) |

This thing has the most complicated engine set up I've ever seen, it's Tuned Port Fuel Injected, but the system to control it isn't electric, it's mechanical, it has a big fuel distributor, just like a spark distributor, but w/ fuel hard lines comming out of it instead of plug wires, just looking at it, I get the feeling the car had a cantankerous engine, and the heads on this thing are HUGE! They're the size of HEMI heads, in fact, they are semi-hemispherical w/ OHC on each side |

#15, Well, the car is actualy mobile right now, under it's own power. We had it out for a little test run, drove it around the field once, it's VERY hard to keep from tearing up the grass, that car just wants to go at the slightest drop of the throttle, scary thing, it's not even TIMED right at this point
Mechanicaly, it needs a new power brake booster, the clutch needs bled, and it needs a new rear axle half-shaft on the driver's side
Other than that, all the stuff "wrong" with it is cosmetic at this point |
