Description:
My car... be nice. 1991 3000GT VR4. AWD Twin Turbo V6.

Not done yet... soon as it warms up, I'm putting some fresh paint on it and a new hood
to allow a little better heat ventilation. Probably slightly bigger turbos too (15g-ish)
No AWD dynos around here, but I'll guess it's around 450-550 HP at the crank. Decent. |

Very nice car. You have a dyno sheet for the horsepower numbers? Wouldn't mind seeing it.

Like I said... no AWD dyno near milwaukee. I just estimated the numbers based on other cars with similar mods. They opened up an AWD Dyno in Chicago, but word on the street is the loon doesn't want people tuning on it and he doesn't have hardly any equipment (no wide-band o2 sensor even I think). :-/

That's actually pretty impressive hp figures, if your assumption is correct. 450 hp is way beyond "decent". Oh yeah, and it's not rice. A "1", for sure.

You know, with the traction you get from 4wd, this would probably run right with my Mustang. It's DAMNED impressive. No need to be ashamed of this one, man. It's sweet.

Because John Hennessey is pretty replaced satan as the least popular person with all the Viper and Vette people. (ie - he screwed people over and is now bankrupt)

PS - thanks for the compliments guys. :-) I was weary of putting a Japanese car on here... haha. I have to admit, when I got the car, it was semi-rice. Some dolt put these little Japanese character racing stickers on the spoiler and front bumper (you can barely see it on the wing in that picture) but I took them off. Cool thing is he took off all the Mitsu and 3000GT logos. All that's left is the little "Twin Turbo" badges by the rear triangle windows. I've people think it's a Supra, Vette(?), Mustang (???), Stealth... probably lots of people things it's a base non-turbo FWD 3000 too.

I"m not sure if this is a VR4, the vr4's had 4 pipes, this only has two. now i could be wrong but i'm fairly sure this isn't a VR4, although i do love VR4's a lot, so i'm not hating on this at all.

ummm... first of all, it's not 4 pipes, it's exhaust tips. The SLs and VR4s had dual exhaust with 2 tips/muffler. However, have you ever heard of putting an aftermarket exhaust on a car???

Sweet ride man.I kinda like the ones that don't have pop up headlights better but that's purly cosmetic.It's all good man.
