Hmmm...the T100 never was that popular...when the redesigned it, they wanted to rename it the T150, but Ford got all pissy about how close the name was to THEIR truck, so Toyota renamed it "Tundra", and THEN it got really popular.

Some people guard thier brand names like thier sister's virginity, I remember years ago that IGA sued some mom and pop chain for using the name "AGA" or somthing that wasn't even trademarked on the grounds that it was "close enough to cause confusion" The only thing stupider than that was Pizza Hut's attempted lawsuit against Papa Johns for using "Better INgredients Better Pizza" as a slogan

#3, Well, the Original McDonalds , owned and run by the original McDonald brohters was put out of buisness by a Ray Kroc franchised one.....
