#3, Daytona is part of the Grand-Am series, not ALMS. And that's about all I can tell you about sports car racing series, besides "there's too damn many of them." |

#5, There's the Trans Am series...
Then there's the ALMS, which is partly owned by that Panoz guy... used to be IMSA, or CanAm, or something like that... I can't remember.
Then there's the Rolex Sports Car series, which this is...they now have those "Daytona Prototypes", which are very ugly racecars, all of which look the same, save for the headlights. Since RSC has some ties to NASCAR, that's not surprising. (Hey, I may like NASCAR, but that doesn't mean I have to like the way those "stock cars" actually look.) |
