#44, Strut braces wont make it handle all that much better, it just adds a lil more rigity to everything, notice the word "little". |

A good anti-sway bar upgrade would improve your handling way better than that and if you think about it, how much stress could that lil hollow tube actually take? |

#50, Already did the sway bars. I've already upgraded every part of this car's suspension except the springs which will come this summer along with wider, lighter wheels. It already takes curves completly flat without leaning like a stock volvo. The heavy weight and good distribution of that weight make this a good handling car from the factory. Thats why I made it better. The strut brace was just a finishing touch.
As for the sparkplug wires, they are thicker than stock and better insulated. This means better, hotter spark to my upgraded NGK sparkplugs, which equals a little bit more hp. I know it's not much, but it's something. As for the color, I couldn't care less. The thick red wire coming off my battery is my amp power wire (4 gauge). |

If he doesnt have a anti sway bar on there at all then itd be a matter of going out to the salvage yard and pulling one off and paying 40 bucks and bolting it right in, if he already has one then it might be a little more difficult to find a stronger anti sway bar.
And if thats all that they made for that model i would put that little amount of money into something as trivial as that. |

#52, Unless your running a high hp, high compression engine the spark plugs really dont make any difference, the same goes with the plug wires, my dad has found this out on a couple of his high hp projects he did. |

#53, IPD made the ones I have on there. They are about 2x as big as the stock ones and a lot more tough. They weren't hard to put on; but I am pretty good at that kind of thing. ;-) |

Simple as that. |

#56, Bleh, it still wont make much of a difference, even on a 400 hp car those quad prong spark plugs wont make much of a diff over the single prong |

#58, I remember now exactly why I repalced my spark plug wires. It was about 2 years ago when I found that my car was having minor problems, coughing and sputering especilly when getting on the gas pretty hard. Kinda like it was running on only 3 cylinders. Turns out that something, (squirell?) had chewed half way through one of my spark plug wires. Since they only sold them by the set, and the "performance" Magnecor wires were only $10 more, I figured 'what the hell'. And they come with a lifetime warranty. Who can argue with that? |
