Those things sticking out the sides are information placards. They put those on after they got the car on the stand, obviously.

#3, Allow me to correct myself--it's the {i}body{/i} off of a race car. It's just a mule--metal pan with some wheels bolted on and a body on top.
Still, if I ever had enough money, taking a course or two on vehicle handling would be a good idea indeed.
