What submodel of Mitsu 3000GT is that? Base, SL, VR4? |

#1, Judging by the wing, it's a VR4.
I'd take the BMW 8 series. They were good daily drivers, bad performers. |

I'd probably take the 8 for a daily driver (heck, the body shape reminds me of another car I've had..) but it would be fun to have a 3000GT VR4. |

Both of 'em are in need of a slightly better power-to-weight ratio. Didn't the VR4's weigh ~3600 lb, and the main reason they could accelerate to 60 quickly was traction off the line? |

#6, 3000GTs were 3717 lbs.
Then again, 850s were heavy as hell too. The 3000 is a better performance car, but the 850 would be more comfortable, better made (Mitsus were never known for quality), and they're better looking. |

#7, Yeah, I knew neither of them were real lightweights. Wouldn't be surprised if the 850 was at least a 2-ton car, knowing the way BMW likes to build stuff. |

#11, No, but their Z3 is scarcely any bigger than a Miata, but weighs 800 lbs more. |

Luxury > performance for a daily driver
Performance > Luxury for a weekend cruiser. |

#17, Maybe it's nice to have a luxurious car in a traffic jam, but if you're in a city with a lot of highway ramps and stuff, it's nice to be able to nail it every once in a while :-) |

#18, That's why I like big honkin' Caddys, Chryslers, and Lincolns. Pure luxury, but plenty of guts when you want to nail it. Handling be damned. |

Lots of problems with the site. The top comments keep disappearing, Free Post comments take up the whole lower part of the last 25 when no one has commented on Free Post in a while, and I keep getting "Script can not continue, terminating" messages. |
