I love 993's (the car which this mirror belongs to) so much character, the last true 911.

#2, 993-generation 911 Turbo convertible...ultimate sweetness for a '90s Porsche....(yeah, I know a bunch of ya hate convertibles due to performance losses, but when the wind's in your hair, you don't notice the tiny difference in performance...)

(...and the Porsche 959 was from the '80s, that's why I said "'90s Porsche"...)

#3, I don't believe that was ever an official production model. Convertibles are fun, but the coupes look so heart breakingly gorgeous...

#4, I could've SWORN I saw a 993 911 Turbo cabriolet once... dammit, oh well...I'd still be happy with a non-convertible 993 911 Turbo... :)

#5, They were made, just not officially.

#5, Oh yes, I love the turbo, I just prefer the cleaner lines of the C2... Anyway, if I were to win the lotto today a pristine 993 would be the first car I bought.

I like the 996 a bit better than the 993, but I like 'em all. :-)

#8, I'd like a 996 engine in a 993 body. I never liked the 996's headlights.

#8, Me too, I just love the detailing on the 993, old trigger style door handles, rain channels on the roof, dash that remained largely the same for 30+ years, floor hinged pedals etc etc etc.

#7, First car I would buy if I won the lotto? Infiniti G35 Sport Coupe... I'd start small, and slower than the 911...I have no experience with non-inline 4 cars...(I'm dead serious, I have NEVER driven anything that didn't have an inline 4 mounted up front.)

#9, I still prefer the old air-cooled motor.

#11, You have quite a bit of knowledge considering your modest experience.

#11, Hahaha...everything I've owned has had the exact same displacement engine.

#14, T-bird, Mustang, Mustang, right?

...but I'm sure you've driven MORE than just those three cars. Right?

#14, You could go through an awful lot of cars driving nothing but 3.8s.

#16, Driven? Yes, but the vast majority of the time I've spent driving has been in those two cars. If I considered everything I've been behind the wheel of, the list would indeed include a wider variety of engine/drivetrain configurations.

#17, Just about everything a) made by Ford and b) in the 3-4000 lb. range was available with a 3.8 at one point or another. And obviously the list gets FAR longer if you include everything with some kind of GM 3800 in it.

#18, I drove a Ferrari 348 5 feet once ( was working at a detail shop when I was 17) the owner came in and snatched the keys from me and told me I would'nt be needing them to wash the car :)
