if it was a RX-7 I might have picked it, but in all honesty would anyone expect me to pick anything but the cobra? |

the RX8 still came in first place in the car and driver test, and the cobra in last, even with an extra 250lb-ft :P |

#9, That's because Car and Driver didn't think it was comfortable. They did mention that it was the most fun to get down in. In a sports car, luxury be damned, I want FUN FUN FUN. |

#12, I realise that, and I gave up on car and driver because of there bizzare comparisons of sports cars in which the fastest comes in last |

#14 this wasnt an all-out sports car comparison, it was a sport-coupe comparo (it was more luxury/cruise oriented) |

I don't like the RX8 because it's a four door. It's another pathetic attempt to make sports cars for families.
Why do automakers insist on making cars that can do everything? Good performance, lots of doodads that break in 3 years, and lots of cargo space, all in the same package? When are they going to realize that NO ONE drives just one car anymore? Most all families (hell, most all individuals) have more than one car now, because unless you live in an urban environment with public transport, you can't rely on just one car all the time. Why not make different cars for different things, the way it's always been done? |

#16, I seem to remember some "all-out sports car comparisons" where the slowest car "won" |

#18, I ain't gonna change it, because I absolutely agree, and voted on it.
I fucking HATE crossover vehicles that try to be sporty. Either a car is sporty or practical. When you try going in between, you [usually] get a car that looks rather odd, and doesn't succeed in either area as well as a cheaper car developed for ONE use. I get kinda extreme with this, because I hate 4 door sedans, with a passion. They're boring looking, never look sporty, no matter HOW hard you try, and they're not as practical as a hatchback, station wagon, or pickup. |
