You'd be pretty much wasting money if you are trying to make an Escort fast, it won't happen..at least not without spending 10 times what the car is worth. If you spend that same amount of money building a Mustang, it'll be many times faster than the built Escort.

#21, Of course, you might just be a tuning freak more than a performance freak, like I am. The thought of fabricating parts to make something like a Tempo fast sounds like as much fun as building a proven combo for a faster car. Then again, it takes the three Ts: Time, Tools, Talent. I have one of those, I'm working on the other two. :)

#26, Yeah, money is an issue, too. Then again, cars are a way for me to spend my money, not make it.
