so, uh, what's extreme about the Extreme? No engine changes... same as the LS, etc... suspension? badges?

#4, Pretty much. Just looked it up and I might be able to outrun it. For the 4200lb truck it has a 120hp/140ft-lb 2.2L I4... Comparable to my 125hp/137ft-lb 2.2L I4. Sad really.
Oh and I have about 1400lbs less to move.

#9, Xtremes aren't bad really. If I happen to a get an S10 it'll be an Xtreme if I can afford one.

Is someone going to come up with an actual argument about why the S10 Xtreme is bad/rice or is everyone just going to spout off all day?

I drive an S-10 and i really happen to like the X-treme, its a sharp looking truck and the only i can find why ppl dont like it is because its lowered and has a bodykit but its not bad at all.

#14, That's pretty much the only reason for not liking them that people have, that and they all think that they only come with the 4's. Their 6's are actually pretty quick when accompanied by a manual...for a small truck anyway.

I think I would rather have a 318 powered Dakota... but hey, you can drop a 350 in a S-10 too...
