Yay, more melted-headlight BMWs.

Yay. I'm happy.

BMW's slide on the downward spiral style-wise is processing nicely.

BMW designers are more than competent people. Look back at the outcry there was around Focus, PT, Volvo, etc. It's the same with most other new releases, takes a bit to grow on you. Later on we realize why they get paid the big bucks, and that's not because their new designs are ugly.

The whole auto industry needs to stop it with the really LSD-induced headlight designs

It looks like it wants to be a Bonneville. That's what I thought it was in the thumbnail.

#6, ...and what's with putting the turn signals on the TOP of the headlight clusters?! They're trying to make it look like a Dodge Diplomat or something?!

Look what happens when BMW employs American women for their top positions... :) No offence, but seriously.

the 7-series' headlights look worse, but this isn't too bad...the only issue i have with the new 5-series is the trunk lid

I liked this design when it came out, and still do today. It's amazing to think how subtle one might imagine these headlights being nowadays.

I have warmed to these... to the point where I now bemoan them being replaced... the *new* 5-Series looks like a bland 110% scale 3-Series, but with the front bumper of a Hyundai Genesis coupe...

I happen to think that the refreshed E60 5-Series is still an excellent-looking car, IMO... it actually looks more modern and cutting-edge than the new 5-Series...

#16, I like these, or hate these, depending on what wheels it has. I think, no matter what the styling, wheels make or break the car. There are some cars that look great no matter what, like the Audi A5/S5 and A4/S4 line. Same can be said of the Fiesta hatchback and MKV and VI Golf/GTI/TDI etc.
