#3, yeah - but up here - the gallon became an endangered spiece back in the mid-70's.

it was decalared extinct in 1980.

took me a minute to figure out what units that was.. finally figured it's probably canadian cents per liter.. so according to the wonderful google conversion:
.869 (Canadian dollars per liter) = 2.85053932 U.S. dollars per US gallon
of course that's with today's exchange rate.. not 2.5 years ago's


pretty expensive gas up there! and thats 2 and a half years ago!.. what's the price these days?

or do i have the units wrong?

Dude, I live in California. We have the most expensive gas in the whole freaking U.S! It hasn't dipped below $2 bucks per gallon in the last 3 years or more. I saw prices rise to over $3 right after Katrina (and the gas companies in my area don't even get their gas from the Gulf!) Right now it's down to $2.15 for 87 octane in my town, give or take a few cents.
