72's are the rarest of all camaros, fuel prices and a soft economy as well as a long strike by workers at the F-body plant kept production way down..... |

Cool, it's a Z28 too. No split bumper and not a great color, but that's ok. I could get it painted. |

This particular generation of Camaro is the only one I don't like the styling of much at all. |

#6, That's a great example. However, I just don't like the way the front end looks, with the big grille and little round headlights off to the side. Just looks awkward to me, and the late 2nd-gens are even uglier. |

#1, I was reading about that just now. Apparently total F-body production for '72 was 68,651 Camaros and 29,951 Firebirds.
The most common year, for no apparent reason, was 1979, with 282,571 Camaros and 211,453 Firebirds. |

This is actually my favorite generation of Camero. However, like everyone else, I do prefer the split bumper as well. |
