Opel/Vauxhall have a very similar car called the Signum. I wonder if this shares any architecture? |

It disturbs me that a lot of cars coming out these days have "optional DVD entertainment system". |

#6, I still don't understand it. I thought the sunroof was supposed to provide light and ventilation for the driver, not whatever poor, suffering individual had to sit in the back. |

#9, It sells. People want certain luxurys and don't even care what the "DVD entertainment package opition" costs. As long as they have friends - then there's no need to have in a car.
We can thank the Oldsmobile Shilloette for all of this "Fold-down TV screen" bullshit. |

We can thank the Something Something for all of this "rear sunroof" bullshit.

#12, Well, I could sort of see the point in the Silhouette, since it was a minivan. A high-mounted TV behind the driver would probably give the passengers something to keep them interested on long trips. But in cars, it's just silly. Heck, isn't there an equipment package for the 350Z that has some DVD stuff? |

#14, now that another issue.
Minivan=Yes.
mid-sized cars=50/50
2-seat sports car=NO!
Who the fuck would watch it? The driver can't because the driver is busy doing something more imporatant. So a DVD entertainment system in a 350Z would really be a "passenger DVD entertainment system".
I know the Cadillac XLR has one - but it can only be used in park which actually make sense. So the smart thing to do in the XLR's case is to keep it in park - turn off the car - go inside your house and watch the movie inside.
