To get be anal it's not really a GT4 shot, it's a shot from a special one track one make "game" being made supposedly with the GT4 engine.

when they say 2000+ cars they better not mean 100 in several different colours.

This is some of the stuff I'd like to see in GT4, however the developers might never read this, I sure wish they would take my opinion into consideration.

-More variety of cars: It's great to have a horde of Japanese cars but maybe they could even things out and just add more American and European vehicles. Personally I would like to see Ferrari, Lambo, McCarran, and of course, muscle cars! It would be awesome to have tons of different muscle/classic cars ranging from all year models, 1900's-1980's. I would also like to see some of the fast trucks of the world, Lighting, SRT-10, Syclone, etc.. Also bring back the used car dealership, have rare cars that you can only buy like the Datsun 240ZX, or the Subaru 22B in GT2.

-Upgrades: I would like to see even more upgrades avaible to the vehicles, including engine swaps (H22A into a EG Civic hatchback to make a fast drag car but not great handling), turbo-charged or supercharge any car (come on, everyone wants to twin-turbo a Viper =) , more tuning (tire pressure, boost settings, for the really advance players, timing, fuel curves, spark pug gap, etc...) Also being able to personalize you car would be a nice touch, change the paint after you got the car, (stickers, body kits, spoilers for the ricers) and bring back the racing modifications as the last weight reduction. I have one more word for this category, NITROUS!

-Sounds: Bring back the turbo/BOV sound that was in GT2!! It's so awesome driving a Supra with a loud turbo around in that game, also it would be cool as crap to hear a Viper making the coveted "PHSSSSST" sound, (read above) Also, make V8’s sound like V8’s, if I put a sport’s exhaust on a Mustang, it should sound like the car has Flowmasters, not a 4-cyclinder with a fart can. You should also be able to buy different BOV’s from real companies that sound like the real contour parts, the Greddy Type-S sounds a lot different from a Turbo XS RFL or Tial.

-Minor details: TIRE MARKS THAT LAST PLEASE!!! Ok, now that I got that out of the way, having the correct interior on the in-car cam would be great. On convertibles having the option of putting it down, (the Cobra just doesn’t look right with it’s top up). They should add real life tuner companies like HKS, Greddy, Apex’I and when you buy a part from them it represents the real thing, (if you buy the Apex’I N1 exhaust, I want to actual see that exhaust on my car.) Or if you turbocharged a car, when you buy an upgraded intercooler, your should see the new intercooler sitting in the front bumper of the car. Also when you do weight reduction, you should see parts removed on the inside cam, like passenger seat, parts of the dash, etc..

"Cont." Another thing, when I do a big burnout I want to see billowing smoke effects, smoke that last and just gets bigger and bigger the longer you burn the tires. Also make turbos act like turbos, have an accurate boost gauge that shows the PSI going up/down with the RPM and make the car pull harder when it hits full boost and slowing down as the turbo dies off at higher RPM like some do.

-More restrictions: GT2 had another thing right, more restrictions on races. (Don’t whine, this game shouldn’t be easy, real racing isn’t) Just about everyone is guilty of this, how many of you have entered a race in GT3 with a F1 car just so you can get through it quicker and get your new car at the end? This leaving the AI opponents 2 laps behind with you finish the race. I think they should have MUCH more restrictions when it comes to races, HP limits, tire requirements, race car or non-race car, etc.. Doing this would greatly increase moral to finish the game, point in case, you have to have a 150hp FF compact car and finish against a tough crowd of AI cars, but when you finally win you can get a really nice prize car that you can’t get any where else. Plus having this will cause you to use more then a couple of cars, I remember I had fun going shopping in GT2 for a specific car to do a single round of races.

-Online stuff: I’m not a big fan of playing online but it would be awesome if you could download new cars after the game was released, (just like NFS did on the comp) this way the company could keep making more and more new cars to get, having this feature would diffently make me buy a thingy to let me connect my PS2.

-Tracks: Bring back all of the tracks from GT2, their were some awesome tracks in that game. More real life courses as well, like Lime Rock and Road Atlanta. For the rally cars, have some races were it’s not a closed loop course but like a real rally race, a point A to point B track. And also more of a mixture of tarmac, gravel, dirt, mud, ice, snow, etc.. Maybe there could be more inclement weather, during an endurance race it starts to rain causing you to pit in to trade out your slicks for some rain tries. Like I said before put in tire marks but also show the tire tracks if you slide out into the sand or grass, making you rip up the grass into muddy streaks as you claw your way back to the track. Someone already said this but it would be awesome if you brought sand onto the track after someone spun out into it, causing a more slippery condition in that area. Maybe they could even add a few oval tracks, I don’t like NASCAR but it would be cool to drive a 800hp stock car around Complex String.

-Drag racing: This is a big one for me. I would like to see a real drag strip, with a tree and everything. At the end you will get a timeslip that you can keep with the car and look at anytime later in your garage. The timeslip would include R/T, 60’, 330’, 1/8mile ET, 1/8mile MPH, 1000’, 1/4mile ET and 1/4mile MPH. There should also be bracket and heads up racing, along with some really fast drag cars, maybe even some top-fuelers as special cars.

-Prizes: One thing I didn’t like about GT3 is getting the same prize car in different races, if I know I would get a different car then the one I won not to long ago I would be inclined to finish different races. Also maybe add secret prizes like finishing a race under a set amount of time, not losing first place, not hitting any walls, etc.. Maybe they could add different prizes sometimes instead of cars, like nitrous kits, turbo kits, new engines, new products to buy, etc..

-Damage: I know they have been having a rough time with this one, some car companies don’t wanna see their pretty cars all banged up. Well I show no respect for their selfish decision. An accurate damage model would take the game to an unsurpassable level (until PS3 that is). Crashing into a wall at 140mph would ruin your day, the race would be over and you would have a totaled car on your hands, of course for the gamers sake it can be completely repairable, however, for a price. Since I don’t think this will happen, they could still put in other damage models, such as the engine, if you slap a huge turbo on it with out doing a new fuel system (injectors, pump, ECU, tuning, etc…), crank up the boost and you will have a blown motor the first time you run it. Also you could over rev the car one to many times and blow something up. Or hit a bump really hard and break an axle, shock, the list could go on.
