Here's a short version
OMG, that was the most fun thing I've done in along time (my life even, but I can't remember that far). All that worrying I did about not knowing how to dance was in vain. Regular dancing just requires you to dance to the beat and slow dancing just requires you to sway back and forth. I will have to it again on my senior prom.
(Cliff notes are on the bottom)
Anyway here’s a recap of what I did on my big day:
Around 6:50 I saw a big white 2002 Cadillac Deville pull up into the driveway. My mom opened the door and met her parents. Lots of pictures were taken during that period too. After that, I put on her corsage and she stuck on my boutonnière. I gave her the roses (bonus point for the parents muhaha)
We headed out to Martin’s West in Baltimore; it was about a 30-minute drive. Her parents asked a few questions. We arrived at the place and the first thing I saw was the huge chandelier in the window. Anyways, we waited for 5 minutes for some other people to arrive and we walked in. We took some prom pictures and headed out to the tables.
We ate some food, but the beef was still bloody (very rare)...*vomits*. Other than that, the food was great. About 20 minutes later we headed out to the dance floor. The first some was “Up in here” by DMX. I didn’t dance at first, just observing how everyone else danced. Then 50 cent’s “In da club” came on, so I tried that song. I didn’t do half bad, I threw in some 60’s & 70's dance moves and the robot. The next song was the “cha cha slide”, I moved to the side of the dance floor so I could see how it was done. Then the DJ said” this song goes out to the ladies” and I was like “uh oh”. So my date grabbed me and we started to slow dance, damn that’s some easy stuff. I could do it all night. After those songs, we had more rap/Hip-hop, Disco music, more group dances (cha cha slide again, booty call, electric slide, hooky pokey (club version), and even the Macarena!) we never even used our table, only to hold our stuff.
After they played the “YMCA”, our group headed out to the lobby to take some pics. Then we went to eat some desert, it was cake and ice cream. To shorten things up, we had a few more slow dances, more regular dances, and more group dances. The 4 hours flew by like nothing. We didn’t go to the after party because Muvico had X2 playing at 12:55. There was a typo or something, because the latest one on the board was 12:30 (we got there at 12:35). So we walked around the mall a little bit. It was really fun walking around a mall with a tux on, everyone looked at us; and some “hardcore gangstas’ ” even had something to say. We all headed out to the double T diner and ate some food. We left around 3:30 am and I got home at around 4.
In conclusion, it was the most fun I have had in my life and I can’t wait to do it again.
Cliff notes:
I got dancing beat
Good food, bad meat
No time to eat
Learned to move my feet
Here's my online photoalbum (i think you have to be a Imagestation member to see it though)

#6, I'm glad that I'm not in school anymore. If that crap is "popular" then I'd gladly want to be a "nerd".
All of Baltimore is ghetto...2 blocks from the Inner Harbor and business district is a street with nothing but porn shops and "theaters". It's really a trashy city (yes, I've been there countless times). |

#9, I think everybody has their porn district too. San Francisco has a huge one. All strip clubs. Some "high class" ones and the ones with the cheap hoes too. Then there's Polk St. Or as I call it, Whore Lane. |
