I finaly have a plan and some cash to carry it out. I'm gong to have the spare 4 bolt main block machined, and then I"m putting the new 350 heads I have plus the rotating assembly out of the leaky 350 into it and then putting it in that camaro there. Gonna get started sometime this week. It's a no-frills 6 banger camaro, but it has a 5 spd. tranny and a rust-free body, needs interior TLC and new rims/tires, but it's a pretty easy rebuild

#15, Wanna suggest some new rims? It has some god-awfull tomato-slice wheels on it right now. I also need to get the T-5 rebuilt, whoever had it before us chewed up most of the synchros by driving it hard

#16, 16 inch Camaro wheels, either the argent "flat five spokes" that I had on mine, or the darker concave Z/28 five spokes. They're cheap, good looking, and readily available from any junkyard. Trans Am GTA wheels would also look good on it.

Regarding the interior, Car Craft used Next Generation Auto Custom carpet in their project Formula, which supposedly was cheap and fit well. Scat Procar Elite bucket seats are also supposed to be a direct bolt in in 3rd gens. They're $799 for the set, but are supposedly very comfortable and blend well with the stock interior. They feature one-touch reclining, adjustable headrests, and even have map pockets behind the seats (in case you're traveling with a couple of midgets riding back there, I assume).

#18, Considering that $799 is 1.2 paychecks for me, I'll probably pass on the seats, but I'll take the rest under consideration. The seats are going to have to be replaced/reupholstered, and the carpet is shot too, sun damage, water damage, previous owner smoked, it's just ruined.
