Go for it :)
Oh, and I should have a timeslip next weekend, hopefully it'll be in the low 13's or high 12's. |

Oh, and yeah, since munkee isn't here right now:
It's a DSM, so it's a piece of unreliable crap destined only to be riced until it finally blows up (since it has a Mitsubishi engine). It's obviously in its starting stages since it already has a 5" exhaust exit and is owned by a riceboy. [/mr_mcmunkee]
Seriously, though, I do like this picture, and the car isn't bad. Good luck with the fuel system stuff--you should be going quite a bit quicker than me, shortly.

Heh thanks.
As for reliability issues:
The Origional engine was still going strong at 170k miles when the previous owner blew it up. It blew up because the person who changed the timing belt didn't tighten it down all the way.

#6, It's hard to think of an engine that wouldn't fail if the timing belt broke/slipped badly.
*has a timing chain* |

The only problems I have encountered were the Alternator dying (no clue how many miles were on it) and the Alt belt slipping once cause the power-steering pump leaked.
I just had the break pads replaced with some good strong ones yesterday. Once the fuel pump and FPR get here it's going in to have that in, and me and Kakoriat are gonna put on an MBC. Hopefully it should be ready for the track next Friday, and provided the MBC fixes my boost-creep issues, I will be running 15 psi.

2k got me:
-The car with blown engine.
-New (not even installed) 7cm 16G Turbo
-Upper Intercooler Pipe
-TurboXCess BOV
-TRD 3.5 in. Catback Exhaust
-17 in. ToXXins w/new Piradas (2k on em when I bought it)
-Eibach Pro-kit lowering springs
-Koni Shocks (8-ways in back)
-Powerstop X-Drilled Rotors and some name-brand pads (now replaced with Axis racing pads).
Also about $400 in other accessories already installed (gauges and stuff).
Engine swap with Engine cost me ~$3500

So I basically paid 2k for the car, and in addition got 2k in accessories.
So I'll have spent under 7k and be doing 12's.
After an FMIC and A decent downpipe I *may* be doing high 11's for under 9k.

Yep. Beats the Civic I used to have :)
Once I get the DP and Intercooler I am gonna start focusing on the body (re-paint, new hood, fix dents) and the interiour (new seats and such).
Eventually I want to get a beefed up Transmission and either a Forced Performance RED or GREEN turbo.
