I watched this movie, and I actually liked it. I still remember the name of the fake car company in the movie: Assan Motors. The cars that they used as "Assans" were slightly modified Fiat sedans and Omnis I believe.

Funny thing, critics at the time (late 80's) said the concept of a foreign car company setting up shop in the USA was too far fetched even for a comedy. 20 years later, Honda and Toyota are both building cars over here, truth is once again stranger than fiction

What's funny is that the car that is on the videobox (i.e. this picture) looks nothing like the cars that they were building in the movie (They were called Assans, for anybody that didn't read my other post.) This car look kinda like a cross between an
'86 Cavalier, and a K-car.

Yeah, I was thinking it's a Cavalier too.

1 guy = 1/4 horse, thus 10 guys = 2.5 hp

Hold on, I must be superman then, because I can make over 1/4 of a kw, and they are more than hp.

#1, Not only were they Fiats, but they were South American market Fiats. The factory interiors were actually filmed at a Fiat plant in Argentina.
