SOmeone once stole the Z28 Badges off my dad's camaro when he was at the grocery store, probably so they could put them on their Berlinetta, riceboy mentality before there were ricers, sheesh |

Jeez, that's terrible, they should just go down to autozone and pick up like 20 badges for a dollar, they all might as well be in a huge bin, just grab a handfull and slap em on your car, "Your cars not a Type R, it's a Camaro huh? Doesn't matter put it on anyway!" While I'm there I'll pick up a mad tyte air filter thats so big, it's twice the size of my .4 litre engine. Then I'll be pimpin' in style, fo real.

Three things I am ABSOLUTELY CONVINCED that riceboy does not and will not ever understand
1. Power to wieght ratios - Lighter isn't always faster. Yeah, my car wieghs more, but it has a bigger engine
2. "Old" technology does not mean slower - babble all you want about your fancy cams, and computer chips and fuel injection, all that tech can't buy you the extra 2.8L of displacement I've got over you, and can't replace the fact I'm running 10:1 compression, you probably aren't.
3. High End v. Low End Torque - Drag racing requires low-end torque, and lots of it, you don't get that from a high RPM engine or a turbo. |

But you can get it from a good two stage twin turbo set up. Just no one has really done that yet. |

I think ricers just parrot the word "Turbo" without really knowing what it is or does. And there ARE nice turbo cars out there, but the bone stock civic isn't one of em' |

Of course they don't get it, the whole Riceboy culture is based on these things:
1.Lighter ALWAYS=faster (so Huffy 10 speed would outrun a 69' Chevelle SS)
2.Old=slow (I guess they think of Granma)
3. Torque...what's that? (they don't get distracted by made-up terms like torque)
Without those rules people wouldn't try to race family cars against American muscle cars, pony cars, and sports cars. |

Torque is as neccessary for speed as horsepower, if not more, torque has to do with the ability to do work or transfer mass through distance (ex. car through 1/4 mile). If a car had (this is really not possible but go with me on it) 1000 horsepower but could only put out 2 ft. lbs of torque, well my only slightly modified Firebird would outrun it. Torque is actually whats responsible for the engine moving the car, it's the circular motion created at the flywheel. |

Unless you can guaruntee a spot in the passengers seat, you DON"T want to be a passenger in ANY F-body car, it's uncomfortable in that back bench seat, and it's noisy too, you are practicaly sitting on top of the differential |

Id rather have a commodore SS. Hell even the basic model. When I think about it they are cheaper than an accord over here. |

This must be a Canadian car. "Yah, SHOR it's fast, eh?" Okay, that just didn't work as well as I'd hoped... oh well, can't win 'em all. |
