#7, Yes, and it's in the fenderwell, where it's not sucking hot air in from the engine bay. This replaces the stock airbox and flexible tube that goes into the throttle body with something that is hopefully less restrictive. |

#9, Actually, there always was one there. There's a surprising amount of space between the fender liner, outer fender, and engine bay. Normally, there's an air silencer in there--tapering bit of tubing that quiets the air down before it hits the filter element. Instead of having the silencer there, now I've just got a filter there instead. yay. |

#15, 10, maybe. So far, I've done this and put on some duals, so I might be making a little bit more power than stock. Now, I just need to stop being lazy and finish my intake-porting project--the upper and throttle body are basically done, but I've barely started the lower (which will require tons of work). |

#17, The car had any "oomph" in the first place? Ha!
Little bit more throttle response, and it now makes a fairly loud sucking sound when I hit the gas pedal (no, I don't have any vac. leaks). |
