Description:
1942 Ford Jeep. ID numbers place this Jeep in the Normandy invasion. Has been in a six-year restoration project, every last part has the scripted "F" that identifies it as a rare Ford-produced Jeep. (Ford produced additional Jeeps for the U.S. when Willys reached maximum production.) This car is currently asking for $31,000 on Ebay.

Ford, ever the perfectionist, refused to "waste" his time replacing parts for Jeeps that weren't his, since numerous companies built them, so every part on a Ford built Jeep, right down to the heads of all the bolts, had the Ford logo stamped on them.

Just replace the word with "cheapskate" or "opportunist", maybe even "profiteer", and you'd be closer.
