IT IS A BEATER.
I TAKE IT TO THE AIRPORT SO IF IT GETS STOLEN.. I DON'T HAVE TO PAY UP.
I HAVE NO PLANS TO "Trick" IT OUT.

I knew a kid in high school who drove one of these, and it's a great car to leave wherever the hell you feel like with the windows down. I think that if I just stopped giving a shit about having a girlfriend, I would thoroughly enjoy driving a car that I could flog unmercifully through whatever I felt like, then abandon. Unfortunately, insurance could pose a problem...But anyway, the Nova my friend drove had a completely warped and ruined suspension and it couldn't go over 40 miles an hour or the whole car started wobbling and shaking...it was quite hilariousto watch, though I'm glad I never rode in it. |

I guess it's not bad, for a Toyota. It's a lot nicer than the ones I usually see. |

#12, Errr....the '80s model Chevy Novas were just re-badged Toyotas. Nothing wrong with owning one of these, but don't pretend it's anything other than a Toyota with Chevy badges. |

The Nova name is forever scarred - forever to live out it's life in the Chevrolet nameplate limbo.
It was once created - flurished - and then reached it's peak - then was silenced. In the 80's it was rencarated with a new host body (a poor one at that) and then died again.
Now it lies in Chevrolet nameplate limbo - unsure if it will ever return to be among the living Chevrolet names again. (Corvette standing for 50+ years and 5 host bodies. Impala has been rencarnated twice already.)
(Just like some sci-fi thing)

It is not a corolla.. just made alongside it. The corolla a little less boxier.. like an older 89 Camry... the nova also has a smaller platform and body.. and is a little boxier. |
