Geez - reading that description makes me think your 1987 Nova has an idenity crisis - it thinks it's a man and it thinks it's a chevrolet.

#8, GM's next compacts (The Cobalt and the Sunfire/Pursuit) are still American-sourced compacts.

#10, The Cobalt replaces the Cavalier for both the us and canada. The Sunfire name will continue on the same new chassis as the Cobalt - but will only be available stateside. Canada will still get the same car from pontiac - but it will be called the Pursuit. As for Opel/Vauxhall - the Astra will get the same treament as well.
The Ion is currently running on the "Delta" chassis.
i'm sorry i can't provide any links because the GMI requires a membership (but that's what i've learned from them)
