Description:
Here's a photo of my big, old, possibly haunted house. Picture was taken in April, but it naturally doesn't look any different now (except the Peugeot isn't parked in the yard anymore). |

Built in 1911, remodeled in 1941. It was a pretty lavish home back in the day, especially for around here. Every room (almost) is paneled in old mahogany.

#3, It's had some work done over the years, but the last full remodeling was over 60 years ago. A lot of cool leftover stuff from that time period, too.....sliding "pocket" doors to the middle room, glass french doors leading to the laundry room and hallway, cast iron tubs, copper plumbing, an OLD fusebox in the hall (which doesn't work anymore, it's currently operating off a newer one in the kitchen), and an old fold-out ironing board in a door in one corner of the kitchen.

#9, Lots of creaks and bangs, like all old houses. Sometimes I think I hear voices in it, or see something out of the corner of my eye. On several occasions I've looked up to the upstairs windows and could swear someone was looking out of them at me.

This place just burned down today....nothing left but the garage, right chimney, and foundation.
It's a shame...even though I moved out of this place in 2009, I always did like the house.

#12, Local news says the family living there is OK, but their pet chihuahua died. Fire started in the unfinished upstairs....probably electrical.
