Bugatti T45 engine, Absolutely marvelous. Two Inline 8 cylinders joined at the crankshafts, DOHC, 3 valves per cylinder, twin supercharged... in the 1930's!

I'm amused by the fact that it looks like the camshafts are run by a geardrive (not belts or chains).

Yeah, I'm just used to seeing more "modern" OHC configurations, where belts are typically used.
