(This for the PC version btw)
It's still in beta so it has some glitches but that doesn't stop me from playing it every day. I'm lovin' it! You can get it from www.gtavc.com |

#14, If you just installed XP as an upgrade on top of ME, sometimes you can wind up with some really weird behavior. Generally, when I switch OS, I completely re-format my hard drive and start again.
Also, in both of those operating systems, there are a lot of features enabled by default which really slow things down. For example, in Windows XP, the System Restore feature constantly monitors the state of your computer so that it can allow it to revert to a previous state. Other miscellaneous stuff, too.
Also, I can't say this enough--if you know the brand name and model of any piece of hardware in your computer, seek out the latest drivers for it. It almost always helps. |

#15, right now i really don't even care about this pos anymore. what i want to do is just get another tower and use it just for gaming and burning CDs. i doubt theres any hope for mine with out wiping out everything. XP has atleast made it where its not crashing every hour or two like it was with ME |

I'm running this at 1600X1200 on my computer. The screenshots were originally that size but I shrunk them down to put them on Ricecop photo. |
