It's time to get away from the mass insanity on RoN for a second for an open discusion:


For those not in the know - it's doctor assisted suicide. It means that if someone wants to - they have a doctor administer a deadly durg interaction into the person's blood stream.

Your thoughts on the matter -

I hate codependence. I'd rather kill myself before I need a doctor to do it for me.

I don't know how I feel about physician-assisted suicide, but in cases like this: http://www.ricecopforums.com/showth...;threadid=19411 they ought to at least pull the plug.

in very severe cases... if the pacient does not show signs of being suicidal, its ok if the patient wants to do it becaues he/she is in extreme permenent pain

Christ, that's a downer. Of course it's a humane thing to offer these poor souls an end to their pain, it's the religious zealots that want us to think that compassion is evil. Hypocrites?
