Hey, there is nothing wrong with stock Miatas. There is a problem with these, but not normal ones. They are fun, reliable, RWD cars.

#5, It's not an Escort! What I find particularly amusing is someone who used to own a red and yellow Neon with a bodykit thought he was qualified to judge whether anything, let alone a universally acclaimed sports car, is rice.

#5, Seriously. My point exactly. I recently got to drive my friend's Miata, and I got hooked. I want one really bad now just because it is so damn fun.

I've pretty much decided that the next vehicle I buy will be either an MX-5 or an old FC RX-7.

#8, Nice choices. My other friend used to have an RX7. So, since I have driven both, I can speak very higly upon both. I really want a Miata because it is so economical and a convertible.

If I ever got a Miata, I would most likely remove the convertible top entirely and attempt to find a more structurally secure way to attach the hardtop (permanently). I'm mainly fascinated by their low-buck auto-x potential.

#10, I say FC all the way, but I know you'd swap in a 302, so it wouldnt have that cool rotary sound.
