Aw, GTX my ass.

And what is the deal with the yellow stripe on the fender? What is that for? It starts from nowhere and goes nowhere. I guess the owner just thought that a misplaced piece of vinyl might make a fashion statement.

nah. These are legit. They are made using SLP parts. The GTX package can be bought as a whole, and the "misplace vynil", you might need to aask Chevy about it too. They used red vynil on the Grand Sport. I have seen these "misplaced ricer vynils" on GP GTX, GA GTs, and Grand Sports in various colors.
