Yeah, that's why there are still so many of them on the road. Granted they are usually in crappy condition, but if you want a beater, you can pick one up for next to nothing and it'll last you a while.

#2, well Ford did build lots of Tempos and they've only been out of production for 10 years. of course there are going to be a lot on the road. unless it's something really crappy like the Hyundai Excels that were quite popular in the late 80s until people found out they were crap. don't see those much anymore

Also, a girl I work with used to have one and it would stall all the time when she was getting on the highway. she now has a newer Corolla which is a lot better.

I haven't seen a 1st gen Tempo in a while, but I do see a black 1st gen Topaz occasionally.
