The Cobalt coupe is available in base, LS, SS and SS Supercharged trims. Cobalt offers three Ecotec four-cylinder engines, a standard 2.2 liter engine in the base, LS, and LT models; a new 2.4 liter engine standard in the SS coupe and sedan; and a 2.0 liter supercharged engine standard in the SS Supercharged coupe. The Ecotec 2.2 liter engine delivers an estimated 140 horsepower and 150 lb.ft. of torque.

I like it

#6, from the back shot it looks kinda gtoish but not really. i like it, at least much more than new cavy's which are ugly as hell.

#8, other than the chevy badge in front i don't see it, looks more like a civic than a cavy i think.

I'm just gonna say it.

My Cavalier Wagon looked better than this slab-sided, built-tall, "corporate-styled" hunk of metal.

This is all an opinion, y'all will probably disagree with me...anywho, gimme a 2003 Sunfire coupe over this ANY DAY.

#13, By corporate-styled, I meant, Chevy has this new design scheme for ALL their cars that looks similar...now, if it were a nice design scheme, it'd be ok. But it's not, so ALL their cars look like crap.

#15, Brand identity is NOT BAD...as long as the cars look GOOD. If car designers are gonna fuck up car designs, there should at least be a safety-net...i.e., don't make ALL the cars look exactly the same.

Mazda is a good example of brand-identity, their cars look very similar, but they all look great.

#15, There's a difference between "brand identity" and "lackadaisical styling departments".

Even in the 1950s (the real beginning of GMs brand identity styling) they had sense enough NOT to make their cars look just like their pickup trucks. The same can't be said for modern GM. They should focus more on the overall styling of the car, instead of "brand trademarks". When you do the latter, the designs always either look tacked-together (like the current Chrysler Sebring/Dodge Stratus), or every car in the lineup looks identical apart from one or two styling cues (like Pontiac's entire lineup).

#12, You might not say that if you knew how much power the Supercharged SS had. They've been talking 200HP but it's been rumored that it might be closer to 250HP. I'd definitely take the Supercharged SS as a daily driver. Pretty nice looking too (definitely a hell of a lot nicer than the SRT-4 and no rice wing). Sad to say, but the interior is probably nicer than my car (certainly looks like it). GM has really been improving on interiors lately.
