Description:
I feel kinda bad for Subaru.

If they didn't feature and advertise the fact that all their cars have AWD - then there would be no reason to buy one. Think about it - without AWD - Subaru would have no redeeming qualites. They would be another faceless brand like Kia or Suzuki.

It's almost like the RX-8. If Mazda never invested it's efforts into the wankel engines - then the RX-8 (and it's RX predecessors) would just be another sports coupe.

I guess this means that if you have a special quality that makes your auto brand more distictive than the competition - flaunt it!

(i guess that's why there are STi's!)

#1, I was about to say, "who else offers a turbo'd boxer engine at that price point?"

subaru is hardly faceless...besides awd they offer unique engines, unique styling, and turbos for a low price

Well the only reason I've ever considered buying a Suby is for winter driving...but I'm sure there are other qualities such as safety that make them better than some other Japanese companies like Honda or Mazda. Their cars are somewhat bland, but I do like their selection of wagons.
