Strange color combination. I wonder if it's stock. I honestly can't see anybody customizing a Pierce Arrow, so I assume it is....

I am a fan of '30s cars, but that paint scheme is all wrong. And #1, there's no way that's stock. Some dipshit did this on his own.

I've read about those pierce arrow V-12s, they are apparently a pain. Because of the width of the motor, the exhaust manifold is inside the V of the engine, right next to the carburetors, so the gas tends to boil.

A lot of '30 and '40s cars had wild paint schemes for their time. Here's a Rolls-Royce that was purple with a lavender roof from the factory. 72969 I've also seen a number of cars that wore bright blues and oranges, not to mention sheets of wicker stuck to the bodywork.
