Nice truck! All it needs is removal of that front plate and some mud.

#7, The only thing REMOTELY like a truck they ever sold was the Passport, which was a rebadged Pathfinder(?) I can never remember exactly what it was rebadged from...maybe the Isuzu Rodeo?

These are great looking trucks. I saw an epsiode of Top Gear where they drown one in the ocean at high tide for 5 hours, drop it from a crane, drive it down a long flight of stairs, set it on fire, drive it through a house, ram it in to a tree and the drop a camper on it. It still goes. Toyota>everybody in reliability.

I saw the final segment of that, where they put it on top of a building that was set to implode. It survived, sorta.

I has working on a beige 2WD Toyota truck this weekend (an '86, I think). It was a massive piece of shit, and had been sitting in the yard of the shop for a year. Jumped it off and it started right up, but it kept wanting to go dead at idle.

Yep, I remember seeing this and thinking how much I loved it, and I'm not even a truck person...or a Toyota person for that matter. Sweet, sweet truck.
