I'm not a fan of the new GTO. I really just don't like the overall look of it that much. The wheels in this pic almost look like plastic and the side skirts barely look attached. |

I don't really mind the wheels. I'd love to see this with some chrome Torq Thrust IIs though. |

I would like a little more aggresive styling. I can see to many similarities between this and the new Sunfires.
The wheels look under sized for the bulk of the car. And the back half of the car looks similar to a Dodge Neon in my eyes.
I think I'm mostly dissapointed as this is not a muscle car tribute or replacement. Its just a name steal. |

New Sunfires? First of all, they don't make Sunfires anymore...secondly, huh?
No Sunfire looked anything like this. If anything, it resembles an older Grand Prix.

#11, It's conservatively understyled, just like the original GTO. People all-too-often forget that the original Pontiac GTO, apart from one or two styling cues (like ram-air scoops and exhaust tips), looked practically identical to a plain-jane Tempest or LeMans. The GTO was never about image, it was about performance in a conservative package.
I like the new Goats because they look GOOD. It would have been so easy for Pontiac to take the "aggressive" route and make it look butt-ugly, but they kept it simple and unassuming, and therefore pleasing to the eyes. |

#12, Well, there are Sunfires right? So obviously there has to ones newer than what there have been. Hense new Sunfires.
I probably should have put newer Sunfires. |

#13, Why can't a car be aggresive in styling and not look ugly? And where it may have been easy to take an aggressive route, as you say, this design just is not far off from what they have done before which really takes the fun out of this car for me. |

#15, A car can be aggressive and not ugly, but it's hard to do. Look at the average aftermarket bodykit.
Everyone wants a car that says "LOOK AT ME", and the concept of a sleeper is lost on the modern car-buyer. I think it's a lot better to have a car that is dull yet aesthetically pleasing than a car that is attention grabbing but odd-looking. Remember the GTO concept from a few years back? UGLY. |

#18, Now that is just wrong. :)
I was thinking aggressive like the TA Firebird, or the Stingray sort of aggressive.
Or even Mustang.
Aggressive Styling is not ricing up a car.
Also, I haven't said anything against the internals of the car. I'm going strictly on the personal look of the car.
