#4, i just used to have a friend that had one and he always called it his scort. had a friend with a festiva and he called it his fester. so now, thanks to them, all escorts are scorts, and all festivas are festers. i do says vettes, lambos, and called my merkur the merk.

#8, loved it, but i no longer have it. it was an xr4ti and not a scorpio. handled great, pretty quick. lots of aftermarket despite all the rumors that there isnt one. theres a pic of it on here somewhere.
#9-id say theres a merk, and probably not even notice the mercury due to the astonishing beauty of the merk. depends on what type of mercury it was however.

#8, also, it had heated leather, was rwd, 5 speed, heated side mirrors, weight distr. was about 50/50. had it up to 145 once with still room to go. 0-60 in less than 6. never ran it in the 1/4. mine cost me 1850.

i was driving home from indianapolis one night to my moms and the car died. I then tried to restart it to no avail. Tried a couple more times and boom. Fire. Pulled over and it died. Only the drivers side of the engine burnt up, so the turbo and all is still fine. Even the k&N air filter didnt burn.
What i believe happened was this: there was a line just above the distributor cap that had gas running through it. It came unhooked because a couple of weeks prior my dad was fucking with it and took it off and never put the clamp back on it when he put it back on. So, when it came unhooked when i was driving and i tried to restart the car, the gas hit the distributor cap and boom. bye bye XR4Ti. hello shitty econocar accord.

#16, its not, its just that when i think about the merk and how badass it was, the accord pales in comparison. Granted, they are completel different cars made for completely different things, the merk is a 2 door turbo sports car, and the accord is a 4 door family sedan. even still, i just miss my merk.

#18, ya I hear ya...............I dunno why but I miss my mom's 1992 Capri.......underpowered, but nonetheless a pretty fun car......Too bad I couldnt sit in the back after I turned 5.
