Description:
Its kind of funny how People will pay $30K for a 35 year old Ford. A civic from the same year, $500 if you take the hippie stickers off the bumper. Somehow, I just don't see people collecting classic Rice. |

I think it would be fun to make a sleeper from one of the older Japanese economy cars, like the CVCC. |

#6, I think he mis-interpeted all civic's as rice - including the old ones. |

#8, Obs Japanese cars are called rice well by some because they are Japanese, much like how Japanese motorcycles are called rice rockets. |

Well, (@ description) theres really no such thing as classic rice... and hopefully there wont be. That and there were no CVCC fanboys back in the day cuz people in general werent as stupid about cars.
#9, Hes Obsidian, he overanalyzes everything. Whether or not its on purpose is beyond me.. |

I think rice is just one of those things that we will all look back on and laugh at in the future. Like belting your pants below your ass. |

it depends on how you classify rice, if you classify it as "look goofy/ like something you aren't" than it's been around for a looooooong time |

I dont think it was "rice" before people started modding Hondas tho. Before the first h0nd4 2nR, Im pretty sure it was called "looking goofy" and "stupid"

I think rice pre-dated its current form; people did sometimes take base-model American cars and try to make them look like their more powerful cousins (or even worse, like pro-streeters) without doing much to the engine. |

#18, At least those were still faster or at the very least had more potential than the typical modern ricer's car. |
