Description:
Its kind of funny how People will pay $30K for a 35 year old Ford. A civic from the same year, $500 if you take the hippie stickers off the bumper. Somehow, I just don't see people collecting classic Rice.

But then it was just "stupid" as I said when I edited, which you probably didnt see because I edited it. I still dont think there was "rice" before they started screwing with the Japanese imports.

#23, You're right, not with that name. The principle is the same as it's ever been, though.

#23, it's just the current manifestation, the same basic principles applied to the previous forms

I think rice also is defined by a certain attitude. The holier than thou, dumbestics suck attitude is all part of the typical ricer persona. Also rice is a basic assumption that all that matters is appearance and personal gratification comes from others acceptence of your asthetic taste.

#20, I don't know that I'd say a 6 cylinder camaro or mustang exactly had alot of potential in the 60s

You know its going to happen. Hip Hop and Disco, both of them are so monumentally stupid, not to say they where both also all about flash. Disco- Bell Bottoms, Hip Hop- wearing your pants around your knees. Shall I go on???

#29, Please do! Even rocks getting beck to the chick videos. On the radio my local station (The Eagle) was talking to the new Drowning Pool singer (they were better with their last one, shoulda called it quits when he died) and their new video was produced/directed/whatever by one of the Motley Crue guys and P. Diddy... *sigh*

I never thought I'd live to see the day when Metallica would suck. Disco had that stupid little spiny ball, Hip Hop, spinning Wheels. I hate spinners so much, they look good on nothing. Disco- Lighted Chess board for Dancing on, Hip Hop : Lights under your car. Disco- The Beegees in skin tight pants, Hip Hop- 50 Cent walking around in a Flack Jacket and a towel.

the term rice was coined in the 60s by Harley riders when Japanese bikes were first brought to America. in the late 90s it also began to be used to descibe the small usally japanese cars with big wings and stickers and no modifications. just thought i'd mention that

I had a hunch that the re-defined word "rice" was helped into modren language from ebonics.

I think i could be a simple slip of the tounge - and the word "race" could easily sound like "rice".
